Is it safe to have the flu jab if you take warfarin, I have read such conflicting reports.
You Flu Jab.: Is it safe to have the... - Atrial Fibrillati...
You Flu Jab.
Yes quite safe been doing it for fifteen years.
I had the flu vaccinations 2 weeks ago, there is a different one for the over 65's this year.
A word of warning, my sister in Derbyshire and her diabetic husband had their vaccination cancelled last Saturday. Apparently, there is a shortage of vaccine in some areas so it might be wise to get a vaccination at the first possible opportunity if you intend having one.
Yes, I rang our doctors and they said they were out of them. Restricted to over 65s as well...
Yes... Just tell the person who is giving it that you are on warfrin. They will apply pressure longer to the site after.
The needle is so fine I have never had pressure or bleed. Do you bleed when you get stung by a gnat?
No, I work in health care and sometimes they do bleed a bit after. Often it turns out to be that their INR was high but were not aware of it. Adding a little pressure can help prevent brusing for those clients.
Yep, been doing it for 9 years. No sweat!
Thanks for reminding me to follow up with GP's surgery reminder 😊
Thanks glad I reminded you, better get a rush on, hope you stay well this Winter. Gladies x.

Two birds with one stone haha Cheers to you all. Gladys. Xxx. To add insult to injury my debit card just been cloned but got my 50quid refunded Beware the scamming season is here folks. Have not got the foggiest how it was done never out of my purse. Kind Regards Gladie. X🌈🍂🍁🍁🌺🍂.
Our surgery isn't getting the over 65s "posh" version till mid November. I did say I could have had flu twice by then .......
None. Get it as soon as possible. Chance of bit of bruising around the injection site. Ignore anyone who says it will give you flu. Can you give more details of the scam?
All the best
