Weight gain
Hello Honda I’m on 5mg bisoprosol and I have put some weight on and I walk everywhere and eat healthy just so unfair plus I work 4 days a week !! Any suggestions would be welcome !
Bisoprolol will slow your whole system down and those who struggle with weight loss or maintaining will find the task harder. It seems that the only remedy here is to lower your calorific intake/ increase energy expenditure.
I certainly found that Bisoprolol slowed my weight loss efforts considerably. As it had other undesirable effects I only take it as a Pip.
Seems like a fair assessment Yatsura, I have been on Bisoprolol for a few months now and have noticed my weight fluctuating by a couple of pounds some weeks. I just adjust my calorific intake to compensate, so much to consider ....
I put on weight whilst on Bisoprolol but the other thing I noticed was that as I felt so fatigued with the AF symptoms I would get the munchies and that happened whether or not I took Bisoprolol. Same argument goes for steroids - you have to be really, really disciplined. I am finally starting to lose some of the 3 stones I put on after starting medications and it is just starting to decrease. As we exercise less and keep eating the same amount I do also think it is also a bit of mathamatics.
I tend to agree.
