Matcha tea

I would like to start on this tea. Will apixiban and match tea conflict? I know it will with warfarin because of the vitamin K but I also know it is a "blood thinner" but can't really get any info on what that actually means. Should I avoid it?

I wouldn’t touch it. But I am cautious. Green tea, turmeric, vitamin E, fish oil, etc are things I stay away from now. If I were just taking aspirin I wouldn’t worry but since I am on anti coagulation I avoid it. Bleeds can be very serious and nothing to play with. The worse is a brain bleed or gastric bleed. Can be fatal even. I am very cautious and I am sure some people chance it and do ok. For now.

It would seem to be fine with warfarin. It contains a small amount of Vit K but that can be adjusted for by checking your INR. Unfortunately you can't check the effectiveness with the new anti-coags so I would tend to avoid.
