Hi All I’m now 39 and have been cadioverted and 1 week after 2nd catheter ablation for AF AFLand SVT just to be greedy! But this time after ablation my bp has dropped to as low as 77/56 and stays arround 95/61 to the point I almost pass out. My heart had been as low as 55bpm which was awesom as not been this regular and low for two years. After two years of resting heart rate of 100-187bpm this was brilliant. Flutter not pleasant and I have been unable to live my life before all this I was active a runner I could lift weights, now I can barley run a bath! But my pulse spiked again into 145 bpm and drop my bp again and it’s now resting between 68-89 bpm which is a shame. But I’m feeling so ill and is there anyone else who feels this? They say my ivabradine and d flecanaiide and blood thinners would not be causing it?

Anyone else have low blood pressure after ablation
Lack of drinking enough water can make BP go down really low. Try drinking a few glasses and see if that brings it up again.
Always make sure you drink plenty of water, especially in this hot weather.

Your one week post ablation it's possible you have a pericardial effusion Putting pressure on your heart do you have pain .
I am curious how this ended up? I am 5 weeks post second ablation and struggling with a very low blood pressure as well.
Did anyone ever get back to you or did this low blood pressure events end for you ?
Hello,
My 16 year old daughter had her ablation 3 weeks ago and since then her heart rate seems better but her blood pressure has been running low as well, 80’s over 50’s. We have been to the ER twice and she fainted after standing getting her prom dress altered. Her lips were blue and face white as a ghost . I’m afraid to even let her go back to school . They ran EKG did blood work and bedside ultrasound at the ER both times with everything coming back good . But still no explanation for the low blood pressure that has just became an issue since the ablation. I’m reaching out for anyone to please explain to me why this is happening . We still have another week before her follow up with the cardiologist. I am a nervous wreck and I just want some answers and I’m desperate for someone to give me some 😔
Did this ever get resolved or did you find out what was causing this ?
I would also appreciate any information regarding this..
I also had an ablation almost a month ago and my blood pressure dropped after it. Its now around 85/45 and only sometimes it climbs to 90/60, but before the ablation my bp was always 120/60 or 70. Could you please inform me if your bp returned to normal? Im very worried that my bp will stay low permanently and cant really find much information about it.
