Update low blood pressure after 2nd ablation

Thanks for all the kind words last week .I rang the arrhythmia nurses Monday morning and after speaking with my consultant they called me back and had me in for an echo Tuesday morning . ..and saw the consultant straight after the scan who told me that all was fine on the scan as he had originally suspected pericarditis . ...

He has told me to come off verapamil as he felt the tablets could be causing the low blood pressure after the ablation .

So off all meds now apart from apixaban ....feeling a bit nervous without any meds to help control things bit time will tell .

Once again an amazing heart hospital at basildon cardiothorasic Centre....so lucky to have them right on my doorstep and to be seen so promptly by them .

Honestly Bob from the start if my af ourney they have been absolutely incredibly. Amazing care and prompt action every time . Cannot fault the cardiothorasic centre or the staff .I'm.a great supporter of the NHS

A friend of mine set up Essex Hearbeat a few years ago and I combined a trip to see relatives with their inaugural meeting. It all semed great for a year or so until staff changed and the medcial lead was unable to carry on. Not sure if they still exist?

Yes I believe it still is running ...its in Chelmsford and run by a lady called jenny.
