I cannot answer your question about magnesium but wonder if you are in touch with the 2 uk pain associations?I subscribed to their mags. years ago when plagued with unbearable sciatic pain. They probably have help lines.

Thanks

i take it and i think it has helped reduce the length of attacks and also helped me sleep better. Its generally very good for the heart, Dr Gupta has a very good video on You Tube explaining the benefits of magnesium and why people (not just those with ab fib) should take it !

My electrophysiologist recommended it to me and I've been taking it for several months, along with the magnesium taurate (with taurine) that I'd been taking. Can't say I've noticed a big difference with the malate.
