I had my ablation 3 weeks ago and feel awful.I still had AF but converted last week.I stopped taking Amiodrone because it made me feel so sick all day everyday.Yesterday I went back into AF every couple of hours.I feel so much better when in AF,i can breathe and do things around the home. When I am in NSR I cant breathe I feel so dizzy and really not well at all.I was also taking Lanzoprazol but have stopped them because my stomach has swollen so much i have gone up 2 dress sizes.I will be having a Cardioversion in a few weeks although im not sure sure this will help as i know i have to have a 2nd ablation once my hearts healed.

So sorry to hear all this. Do hope you are getting help and support as well as medical attention.
Oh dear. That's awful for you. I do hope that they can get it sorted out quickly.
Very sorry to hear you feel so bad- I do hope you improve soon- it may take a little time as your heart has taken a battering but should improve soon.
best wishes
Rosemary
So disappointing for you, my first ablation made me feel a lot worse but the second worked and I haven't had AF since, but then I was the opposite in that the AF made me feel awful and I was ok in NSR.
Hope that you feel better soon.
Sorry to hear you have not been feeling well. Hope things improve for you now. Take care.
Mine was 9 months ago. I had lots of episodes of various arrhythmias for 4 months after ablation. Then all quiet and nothing since. So don't give up yet. It may still work. Good luck and try to stay positive.
I hope the doctors find a solution soon with your meds to help you through the rough spots until the ablation. We all react so differently to the medication. I know I've gone through rough patches with the meds when I stopped. Take good care
Sorry to read you are so poorly after your procedure. Do you have any arrhythmia nurse contact numbers from your hospital discharge? I have found that stopping meds that I should be taking sometimes makes things worse. Nobody has to stay on anything that they feel doesn't suit them though, go and speak to your doc and get your self sorted out dear. Hope to hear from you again soon bettergrace let us know how you're getting on!
It's weird that you feel good when in AF and bad when not. Wonder what the reason for that is? Hope you get it sort, 2nd ablation may do the trick, so may people have had to had numerous ablations to get it right.
