Unfortunately for me chocolate is a trigger so havent touched it in 11 years!!! Why is it that its only the good stuff that sets us off and never spinach ot carrotts !!! 😂

Karl, just because chocolate may have set off an AF episode at one time (or even a couple of times) doesn't necessarily mean it will set it off every time. I never seem to experience the same trigger repeatedly, so I can't believe that eliminating something that I thought was a "trigger" would make any difference. Live your life and don't let afib keep you from living the way you want to live.

Chocolate is one of my triggers. Have tried very small amounts say just two chocs from a box and it still did it. Had a magnum the other day to test again and regretted it for the next 24 hours. I am very caffine intolerant so maybe its the caffine in the chocolate that does it.
