Useful trace Mazza - fairly fast, no P waves and there is an irregular rhythm. Must feel miserable.

Not decrying your affliction but your irregular rate is much more regular than mine. I do a 2 minute AliveCor reading but note the range as I am going along and then write it into the notes. For instance my one for this evening was 84 but range was 65 to 101 (ie a range of 36). I think I am very lucky if the range is under 25!!!

I only do 30secs when I got to hosp it was going from 70 to 138 do you think it's better to do longer reading???

I have AliveCor, but it only shows an average HR I think. How do you monitor the range?

I have had HR from 40 to 150 bpm on alive cor once 220 bpm but thght that was interference

I just watch the screen (top right) - it shows the value that it is measuring as it goes along and I just remember the low and the high value as I am doing the recording and then type it in at the end.

I have set my record time to 2 minutes to be more representative and more accurately compared from day to day.

I too set it for 2 minutes. Sometimes I feel my heart is beating hard, but the HR stays around 65 & the results are "normal" . Maybe it's us anxiety as the AF diagnosis is new to me, i.e. 6 weeks. I've had one short, 1 hour episode in January, & a much longer episode, 18 hours on March which was picked up on an ECG in my GPs office. I have since seen an EP.

Don't take any notice of lack of P wave. My machine never ever showed one even when in perfect NSR. You need to sit it on chest or one hand and one knee apparently if you want to see one. I never managed to find one. Looks far too regular to be my type of AF.
