cardizem xarelto cause shortness of breath

when i was diagnosed with afib oct 2014 they put me on cardizem 180 xarelto every day and in the hospital. since then i have shortness of breath. do you think these two meds are the cause. the cardiologist just said take lasix 40 prescribed by my primary dr and see me in 6 months. help

I have never taken the drugs you mention, but I would have a chat with your GP and tell him about your concerns. Have you taken your blood pressure to see how that is?

I have been on xarelto for 11 months with no problems. Typically it doesn't cause breathlessness, more likely the heart meds. I did have an increase in joint pain, old injuries... the first 3-4 weeks but then it all settled. Hope things work out for you soon!

I am on 120 MG Cardizem 2x among other drugs. I think one of the side effects for me is i feel, a little tired but not out of breath. I do exercise nearly daily for 30 mins of mixed cardio & weight cross training. When taking a mix of drugs it is hard to pinpoint what affects come from what for me. Hopefully it is short term for you until your body adjusts .....

I take this drug and am starting to have shortness of breath. Are you still taking it? I want to stop taking it and trying to figure out my best course of action
