Does having the flu vaccination or the vaccination for shingles have an adverse effect on someone suffering from AF?

I have had a flu jab this past 3 years and have AFib, AFlutter and SVT. Not had any problems with the jab. Not had shingles jab so sorry cant comment on it.

Not from my purview. I have never heard of or experienced any problems and you should be protected .

I've had flu vaccination for several years and shingles vaccination this year - no effect whatsoever on my AF or heart.

Don't know about shingles but have asked for the jab, so interested in the replies.

With AF, I was put onto the flu-jab programme BECAUSE I had AF.

Exactly the same with me - as a 58 year old, I would not be having a flu jab every year if I didn't have AFib.

Yep had the flu jab as normal this year without problems or side effects which is always a thought as I have low blood pressure and have a tendancy to faint after a jab - nurses just stand by but all was okay!
