I need advise on international health centers dealing with electrophysiology cases like us

We have only two doctors in my country who are dealing with such cases with limited experience where I can't trust having another ablation and EP study again

Appreciate your advises even through private mags if forum rule doesn't allow that on public

Thanks

Hi Maitha,

I am reliably informed (by a cardiologist) that Bordeaux in France has some of the best EP's and EP facilities in Europe. Have a look on the internet I think you will find it favorable. The AF Centre at London Bridge hospital is also meant to be very good.

The Royal Brompton in London has very up to date magnetic equipment - there is a video of Dr Ernest carrying out ablation too.

Sabine Ernst is a lovely but formidable lady and was assistant to the EP in Germany who pioneered RF ablation in Europe back in the early 90s. She was never my consultant but I have met her on a number of occasions and would recommend her to anybody.

The Liverpool Heart and Lung Hospital, Broadgreen, Liverpool is rated as a Centre of Excellence. When I asked if there was a long waiting list for ablation I was told "No, there are 5 or 6 of them at it."

Thank you all

I already emailed my reports to AF center at London bridge hospital and I will do the same to the other two

I hate to travel for treatment abroad my country due to high cost and I should stay the whole recovery duration there for better follow up and monitor and but no other choice

There is the AF clinic at the Harley Street Clinic London UK, consultant lead Dr Wyn Davies. There is also Imperial College Health Care at St Mary's and Hammersmith . St Bart's London are also top of the list.

Personally I think if you have AF someone like Dr Wyn Davies is the man - lovely manner, highly knowledgable and skilled and totally patient orientated. Excellent service.

There is an excellent Professor in Portugal but they charge around 18000 euros for an ablation. J

Try the Harley street clinic - Dr Wyn Davies I'm sure it's cheaper than £26k
