I am a PCa survivor about 4yrs ago, diagnose with GS 4 + 5 = 9 which is very aggresive. I had undergone Rad 39X along witd ADT for 2yrs. My nadeer was 0.04 then after 2yrs it has been up and down. 3 month ago my PSA was 0.13 a slight increase but my MO told me keep watching until it reach 0.2. I watch some video in YT that some PCa survivor were saved by eating bitter apricot seed kernel from Hunja tribe at Himalaya. I've been taken 20 pcs every twice a day for more than a month. I will return to MO next week for 3 monthly PSA checking schedule and let see if this magic seed from God Almighty really work to reducing the PSA. Some people were telling they are free from cancer because of consuming this seeds. I will update the result soon. God bless us all...regards, JV

And if your PSA goes up, down or stays the same it proves nothing.

Your body converts it to cyanides that kill the cancer along with you.

Note that "poisoning" is not just alive or dead. Poisons can permanently damage organs (eg the liver, kidneys) which may mean you can't access real treatments in future.

The danger in posts like yours is that others may think this is a legitimate treatment and try it...

Some articles from Australia (where sale is now banned). The first notes reports of cyanide poisioning before the ban, the second that there is no evidence this works.

We are high Gleason PCa survivors too. We believe papaya, blueberries, no booze or red meat, organic vegetables and tofu are all contributing to keeping us alive and kicking, at close to 79 years old and 8 years since diagnosis.

We are not convinced poisoning ourselves is the way to continue travelling the planet. Good luck to you.👍🏻

I knew of someone who did exactly what you are doing and poisoned himself, he died in hospital. The apricot seeds are meant to be used along with a specific diet, not on there own, you really do have to be very careful.

I trust more people die because of poisonous by Chemo or Rad or even by costly big pharma medicine. A lot Cancer survivor eating the seed over the year and still alive, anyway thanks for the advice

Your PSA is very low, no need to do any aggressive treatments. Apricot seeds may be like a chemotherapy - both kills cells.

Here is a quote from a random internet post called Apricot Seeds for Cancer Treatment:

"... Apricot seeds may be safer than amygdalin pills. Adults have ended up the hospital after eating 20-30 kernels.

You also may get sick if you eat apricot seeds over a long period of time. And you shouldn’t pair amygdalin with extra vitamin C. That combo can push your cyanide levels even higher. ..."

Husband and I got B17 amygdalin 500 mg tablets recommended to us from a MD who does integrative care. This Dr said him and his wife have been taking for 30+ years. So Husband and I started taking them. I had no side effects. But I also don't have cancer. After several months husband started having dizziness that would come and go. MO thought maybe it was Xtandi so switched to Orgovyx. Dizziness persisted and was getting worse., he was losing his balance and it was happening more. We thought it was the flowmax or low BP from viagra. He ended up quiting flowmax as he didn't need it anymore. Then we started the process of elimination with his supplements. As soon as he stopped the B17 Amygdalin tablets the dizziness completed resolved within a few days and hasn't came back. We know now It was definitely the B17. So what I am getting at is you don't know what this is really doing to your body. You also dont know how it will interact with your other medications. I decided to quit taking it as well. There are so many other ways you can kick this cancer without the B17.

Also forgot to mention the dizziness was so bad that he ended up doing a CT scan of the brain to make sure there was nothing else we were missing. He had crashed on his dirt bike wearing a helmet a few months prior to the dizziness. Scan was normal.

What's the story about consuming apricot seeds?

ChatGPT said:

The story around consuming apricot seeds is pretty controversial—it mixes health claims, historical use, and real safety concerns.

🧬 The Claim

Some people, especially in alternative health circles, believe apricot seeds (or kernels) can help prevent or even cure cancer. This idea comes mainly from a compound in the seeds called amygdalin, which is sometimes marketed as "vitamin B17" (not an officially recognized vitamin).

When ingested, amygdalin can convert to cyanide in the body. Cyanide is, of course, a toxic substance—and that’s where the controversy lies.

🌿 Origins of the Belief

Laetrile is a semi-synthetic version of amygdalin that became popular in the 1970s as an alternative cancer treatment, especially in the U.S. and Mexico.

The theory was that laetrile selectively kills cancer cells and leaves healthy cells alone. However, scientific studies have not supported these claims, and laetrile has been banned or restricted in many countries.

⚠️ Health Risks

Consuming too many apricot seeds can cause cyanide poisoning, which can be fatal.

Symptoms include: nausea, dizziness, headache, low blood pressure, and in severe cases, coma or death.

Health authorities like the FDA, EFSA, and Health Canada have warned against or restricted the sale of apricot seeds for this reason.

The European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) said that eating more than 1 to 3 small apricot kernels in one sitting could pose serious health risks to adults.

💬 Bottom Line

No solid evidence supports that apricot seeds cure cancer.

They do contain cyanide, so consuming large amounts can be dangerous.

Some people still take small amounts as a supplement, but it's risky, and definitely not recommended without medical guidance.

YOU TAKE A RISK OF ENDING UP IN A DITCH.

Good Luck, Good Health and Good Humor.

I had read about B17 too so will be eager to hear your outcome. Anyone who says "you're putting poison into your body" is right, but I'd assume radiation is MUCH worse and we're doing THAT!. There have been hospitalizations but eating too much of ANYTHING will put you there. I like the hands on helpful evidence of the dizziness and isolation to B17 of as the cause so certainly you have some guidelines. A blind guess, wouldn't be surprised if worked for some people, makes others worse and has no impact on others as we're all different. Godspeed & thanks for sharing! I love the BOLD people!

If, and that is a big if, I wanted to try something like laetrile I would go to a clinic in Mexico and have the infusions. By direct injection into the blood stream you don’t have the amygdalin mixing with stomach acid and producing cyanide poision.

I had a neighbor who was diagnosed with breast cancer and given 6 months to live without chemo and 12 months with chemo. She went to Mexico and lived an additional 29 years and died at the age of 80.

The hard evidence re: risk/reward of radiation vs apricot seeds should make an impression on you.

Or just go with what you’ve heard, especially if it’s what you want to hear. Evidently that’s what your plan is anyway.

Well, I hope it works for you. But this is just a variation of the long ago discredited laetrile story. Laetrile, derived from the bitter seeds of apricots and other stone fruits was claimed to cure cancers of many sorts in the sixties and seventies. A large study was done, retrospective, and it failed to show any benefit. Nobody wanted to do a true double blind prospective study, considering it unethical. Interest faded. Stories like yours still pop up though. I won't be trying it myself.
