What other options can we explore. His labs of the ascites said no malingnant cells found, but his statement says it was.We are ready to go all the way, just want to be strategic about our approach and not let anyone tell us anything. Any insight will be much appreciated. I completed the hx profile to the best of my ability. Love Oldest Daughter.
"Unfortunately at this time given his low Hb (7.7, poor renal function with GFR <50) and malignant ascites; he likely is not a candidate for pluvicto. I have reached out to medical oncology to discuss. I will reach out to see if any clinical trials are availabe"

Work with closely with kidney doctor for renal functions. I did similar challenge after ARX517 clinical trials.
- Iron and other infusion may help to get Hb. I hope doctor prescribe other infusion that increase HB and get approval for pluvicto.
- I do see that he did full pelvic radiations that may cause this number lower side and disqualified him from pluvicto.
- Other options that I can say
- Send email to all different near by clinical trials and find out any clinical trial that focus on ADC , PSMA base targeting, Immunotherapy like AMG 509 or other other recommendations from them.
- Collect the clinical trial informations and post here and find the patients who already doing it and it may help you to make decision.
Thank you so much for your quick reply, God Bless you and your health. Ill be getting right on this suggestion for improving renal functioning and hemoglobin. Is there any specific sites to search for clinical trials?
If you really want all the info on clinical trials, go to cancer.gov and do a chat session with one of their people. Once they have your info they will send you a copy of the chat session and then links to all clinical trials near you, then follow up with a phone call to discuss. I have found them to be very helpful.
Getting a second opinion is always a good idea. Hopefully your insurance will cover it and you can probably get a tele-medicine visit with an oncologist at one of the major cancer centers, even if there isn't one nearby or an in-person one would be months off. For me, when my PSA started rising after Pluvicto my local MO had one option, but after a consult with Roswell Park, I had 6 but with encouragement to get into an actinium clinical trail and save the others as fall-back should I get really sick (I feel find now with PSA ~ 20)
Best of luck, and remember to breathe and smell the flowers along the way.
