Immunotherapy before/after or concurrent with Chemotherapy

Hii all ,

My father is failing ADT and next step is to start chemotherapy . I have discussed the case with APAC Biotech Gurugram regarding Immunotherapy . They have suggested to do it before chemotherapy as the tumor cells will shrink during chemo treatment and they will not be able to get good quality tumor cells .

What is best sequence to get the immunotherapy ?

Anyone here has taken their services , what are the reviews and results ?

Thanks TA , so it means immunotherapy like Dendritic Cell therapy should be done either before or in combination with chemotherapy ?

No.It is not for all dendritic cell therapy, only for APCEDEN. APCEDEN requires activation with tumor tissue, Provenge does not.

I agree with doctor. I would also do before chemo. After chemo tumor become resistance for example docetaxel is the first chemo therapy for prostate cancer once you build the resistance from the docetaxel than you move on other chemo.

What's his PSA and How many bone mets currently ?

PET scan will be done after tommorow visit and discussion with MO .
