chemotherapy or something better?

hello.

so I just had one week of radiation on my pelvic bone. And one day on my shoulder. From the MRI it shows the prostate cancer in the prostate isn’t spreading and actually getting smaller while the prostate cancer in my bones is actively spreading. On the CT scan it showed a new tumor unsure if it’s cancer or not. I will go for a biopsy to see if it’s intact prostate cancer or if it’s the start of bladder cancer.

Today I meet with Dr.Kollmannsberger So join the Lutetium-177 trial phase two which won’t start until February. But until I can get in to that trial the doctors are really pushing me to start chemotherapy. But I think it will not handle chemotherapy well and I know that Lutetium-177 works way better without chemotherapy. Is there any other treatment of the chemotherapy therapy that I should try before I can get into the study?

I need advice on which treatment to start whether to go ahead with chemotherapy or to wait for the clinical trial. If there is any any other treatment that isn’t approved yet that could be beneficial.

the radiation was really hard on my body as two weeks after my symptoms are still getting worse. I am hoping to regain life quality I’m willing to try things that are unconventional. I’m also willing to travel to a different country for treatment or for doctors opinions.

Please help

"I know that Lutetium-177 works way better without chemotherapy. "

That is incorrect:

please correct me if I’m wrong. But I believe the link that you shared is comparing chemotherapy verses Lutetium-177. I am saying that Lutetium-177 would be better as a secondary treatment instead of chemotherapy as a failed round of cotherapy lowers the success rate of Lutetium-177.

Perhaps I don't understand your situation. Reading your profile, it appears that you have never failed a round of docetaxel. However, even if you have already failed docetaxel, Jevtana has exactly the same increase in survival as Pluvicto:

Stick to your guns TA. I wish people would learn to understand statistics like you or alternatively would stop trying to misquote and misinterpret them and accept they are not Statisticians and accept interpretation from those who can understand.Although now 50 years since I studied my Statistics degree nothing seems to have changed.
