Started Talazoparib this week. Anyone else?

My MO started me on Talazoparib (PARP inhibitor for ATM mutation) this week. Anyone else taking this this with Xtandi and 3 month Eligard shots.?

It has the normal scary list of SEs. What have been other's experiences?

Keep us updated on your progress. Some of us on here are ATM mutation positive. Is this part of a clinical trial? Are you actually take the Talzenna formulation?

Not on a clinical trial. Yes, I am taking the Talzenna formulation.

Although it is approved for the ATM mutation, it really only works well for men who have the BRCA mutation. And it is very toxic:

I suggest you enroll in the following clinical trial of a second generation PARP inhibitor. In early trials, it seems they may be beneficial against ATM+ and they are quite a bit less toxic. Module 5 accepts men in your category:
