I'm 77 have had P/S since 2014 and am told thats it as to any furtehr treatment. Had Chemo - failed after seven. Had radiotherapy seemed to be positve but now suffering from Lymphodemia and having a bowel issue. (R/T causal).
Not exactly randy given my age, and co-morbidities, so is there any point in me continuing to have a three month Zoladex shot?

I have been fighting this damn disease since May, 2013. At the beginning I was prescribed Zoladex (goserelin). Over the years I have been on many other drugs but my oncologists have always kept me on Zoladex. When I queried this, I was told Zoladex is the base to which other drugs would be added. Recently I was put on a clinical trial investigating Lutetium pre-chemotherapy. All my other cancer fighting drugs were stopped except Zoladex. I was told I had to stay on it and probably would be taking it for the rest of my life. Hope that helps!
