I’ve been on Orgovyx since mid-December. Normal SE; fatigue, sweats, brain-fog, etc. May 10th I started adding Abiraterone acetate and Prednisone.
The past week I’ve been experiencing stomach aches, sorta some contstipation (straining) and mild nausea. Any guesses if it’s the newer meds? The info lists stomach pain as a possible SE, but trying to figure out if that’s really what I’m experiencing.
Anyone else on this regimen who can share their experiences?
Thanks in advance.

May I ask if you take your Prednisone with food? I have a breakfast an hour after the Abiraterone and with the breakfast the prednisone in a few supplements like magnesium and vitamin D etc. (I take my calcium with the Abi.) My ADT is injected Firmagon.
Let your doctor know if you experience nausea, vomiting, constipation, abdominal cramping, confusion, dizziness, lightheadedness, fainting, muscle weakness, ..
I have gone through the whole range. Last (1st) go around with Lupron and Zytiga, protein shakes helped with the nausea. This go around, went through the nausea phase in about 2 months, and have now hit zero appetite zone…. I do not know which one I preferred.
I make jokes about getting ready for “hot girl summer” (yeah castration!), but the overall lack of hunger is disturbing

I am on Orgovyx since mid-December and Abiraterone/Pred since late February. Some sweats and fog, but no fatigue, and no gastro problems at all. I take 2 heaping teaspoons of Metamucil powder before bedtime. The 10 mg of Prednisone is causing easy hand and forearm skin bruising and tearing.
