Testosterone too high?

I recently had my quarterly PSA and T tests, following stopping 18 months of ADT (Orgovyx) in April of 2022. PSA continued to de undetectable (<0.01) and T was 761. The last quarterly T was 706. Having had an initial PC Dx of GL9, Stage 4, Decipher .76 (July 2019) should I be concerned that T is higher than the 720 end of normal range? I worry about T stimulating any latent PC cells. T prior to RP was 740 . I am almost 71 years old now.

for me, the problem was: when my T recovered to normal high, the psa started to rise. This is what I would be watching. I stopped ADT since November and now, I am watching the T every month and I know it’s coming but I try not to think wit. It’s hard though.

Congratulations! Not a problem. If T were going to stimulate occult PCa, it would when T was 150, according to Morgentaler.

Thanks TA, I was wondering at what point does rising T stimulate PSA (if it is going to). Never worded my question to google well enough to get a clear answer.

if you use estradiol patches your T will come screaming down . I use three .1 mg patches changed weekly . You will develop man boobs but the patches have less side affects than Lupron, etc. Other folks will tell you what to do to mitigate man boobs. Personally I could not care less at this stage of my life.

As long as your PSA is undetectable I would just thoroughly enjoy the normal range testosterone. It does a man's body good. Just keep monitoring PSA and scans annually.
