A lot of folks will see their APCa treatment come to an end, hopefully due to good PSA levels and scans. But the end of treatment is the beginning of living with no net under you, with periodic checkups and scans, with emotional stress especially since LT SE's may continue, change or crop-up, and last not least that PCa has a way of sometimes coming back after years of absence.

That's for men who have "completed treatment" for curable (localized) Pca, not for APCa (recurrent or metastatic).

The lines between PCa and APCa are blurry, that is some folks RX'ed aggressively with APCa may be not so advanced. EG oligometastatic. Also those who choose to exercise in quantity and intensity probably will bend the odds in their favor. The reality of radiation + ADT is that for some their PSA will be undetectable until ADT is stopped.
PSA is not cancer, and it is a mistake to think of it as if it were if you have "treated PSA."
Thanks for posting that link, I found it very useful, particularly as a reminder of some of the basics such as nutrition and exercise. Also downloaded and plan to use the Survivorship Care Plan document they provided for PC.
Not quite sure why you are asking. Did you write this and are looking for advice on how to edit it? Or are you asking more broadly how people are following up for your own edification.
let me assume you are looking for edits. Overall, I found it good but a bit too vague in places to be helpful. In particular, I would add more detail in two areas: living with potential side effects (ED, urinary, other) and potential further treatment (adjuvant radiation, immunotherapy, chemo). You might break it down further by whether your primary treatment was surgery or radiation. These are the things people are most interested in.

PROSTATE. The root word is the Greek prostates, which literally means one who stands before, or protector, guardian — which describes the prostate's position in front of the bladder.
I always thought it meant Stands Up.......but that definition was dispelled when I was married to my first wife................
