History Question for Tall Allen or others.

I am interested in what happened to the Eclipse Clinical Trial of a few years back?

I find several old calls for patients to sign up. They say it is set up as a Lu177-PSMA-I&T vs.

Lupron (ADT) Trial. Sounds like good science to me but a Political Mine Field to get US FDA approval. I am surprised they even got FDA approval for the Clinical Trial. In any case I can not find any further info on the internet as to what happened in the trial or to the original drug company.

Only that POINT became the new owner and has set up SPLASH which is a more politically correct trial taking on only the replacement of the Chemo step on the SOC decision tree.

Any help appreciated.

Cheers,

Buddy

It looks like it has been updated from the older webpage I had found.

It is a little bit different from the SPLASH trial I am in.

It only requires prior use of Xtandi or one other in that class.

It has a compressed 4 treatments at a 6 week period vs SPLASH's 4 At 8 week periods.

Thanks for your reply,

Cheers,

Buddy

It's still recruiting, according to this:

I don't know what you mean by "politically correct." It is for Chemo naïve patients who have failed one advanced hormonal

The original trial and call for participants in 2020 was set up as LU177- I&T vs. Lupron alone.

I must have read to much into the description.

The 2022 trial is different as you point out.

Thanks

why on earth would they compare to z as Lupron alone when SOC now is Lupton plus at least a second hormonal?

Was on Lupron for about a year. Experienced hot flashes, that was about it. Doctor switched me to a quarterly injection of 22.5mg Eligard, which I've been on for over four years. Hope this helps.
