blood in urine

feel great but I detected blood in my urine what does mean … only other time was after biopsy… on lupron and xtandi just over two years and radiation to debulk prostate

Usually just some scar tissue sloughing off. If it persists and gets bloodier, tell your doctor.

I was on Lupron for two treatments. It made me so weak I would slide to the floor. I quit and went on natural supplements until I could see a new oncologist in the city I just moved to.

I was given a 30-day sample of a capsule that replaced Lupron. I did not have any side effects and will get a prescription for it when I go to the new doctor Sept 1. The drug was called Oxy something.

Out of the blue I suddenly was pissing blood for 3 days and then it stopped. Saw my Urologist and so far things look ok....... he will perform a cystoscopy on me soon.....

Just went through this and have a CT Urogram, urinalysis, cystoscopy and urine cytology all negative for pca recurrence and bladder CA.

TA is correct. You may have a scope in your future. There are other causes of bloody urine, that may need to be evaluated.

Xtandi had been great so far. It has brought psa to undetectable levels since November. However, there is the side effects of fatigue and sleeping issues. It also raised my bp level so oncologist lowered dosage to 120. So far so good. I saw blood in urine, but it turned out to be nothing.
