Could be many things. Without any past, current treatments in your profile it will be difficult for the Brainiacs of the group to make an educated guess.

What is causing it? Ask his urologist to investigate.

Second that. Go to a urologist immediately.

I had blood in my urine and was diagnosed with Bladder Cancer! Blood does not belong in your urine! If it is there you need to go to a good Urologist immediately! I was lucky in that I found it early! Getting in early is KEY!!

Thank You . HIs sonogram showed a clear bladder with no cancerI'm wondering if it could be from the Lupron and zytega and airbiterone?

do you mean a trace of blood or copious amounts. if a trace, could be no big deal, i have it all the time. if it is copious (frank, gross) there could be some concern. a urologist is the best to figure it out.

blood in urine can be minor caused by capillary bleeding and look pretty bad. it is fairly common after radiation caused by radiation cystitis. gross or frank hematurea is major bleeding.

if it seems severe go to the ER but be sure it is one with a urologist on call and do not let them fuck with you if they do not seem to know what they are doing especially if you had radiation to the prostate.

Had blood in the urine a little over 2 months ago, for about 5 weeks. Very scary and disturbing to see. Had blood tests and ultrasound done. My Urologist said it may be radiation cystitis. She suggested taking a minimum of 2.5 liters of water/liquid daily, plus had to take tranexamic acid, nitrofurantoin, and tamsulosin as needed. Urine now clear but she said it may happen again.

Hello and thank You. Do you think it's the drugs that are helping to stop the bleeding?

I had urinary burning and had urine test last Saturday. Lab found trace of blood ecoli . On antibiotics and burning gone. Don't know where ecoli came from getting water tested.

Go to a Urologist ASAP, who will perform a urine test and probably a cystoscopy.

usually can not get an appointment right away with a urologist especially for a cystoscopy. so if the bleeding is severe the ER is the place to go if they have an on call urologist. it took me two weeks to schedule a cystoscopy with my urologist. it is not a big deal but they need an OR with sterile equipment so they usually do it on specific days unless it is an emergency.

Greetings Lrv44221,You should furnish us with more info regarding the male with Pca.

Would you please be kind enough to tell us his bio. Age? Location? When diagnosed? Treatment(s)? Treatment center(s)? Scores Psa/Gleason? Medications? Doctor's name(s)?

All info is voluntary, but it helps us help him and helps us too. When you respond, copy and paste it in his/your home page for his/your use and for other members’ reference.

THANK YOU AND KEEP POSTING!!!

When I thought I had Bladder ca I saw my urologist who told me and examined me with a cystoscopy test. It really means going up the willy and looking around for signs. It sounds like a terrible test but in reality it's nothing. I think your urologist would have recommended that test but I'm not a doctor, even though I look handsome in a white coat. Talk with the urologist again.....
