Has anybody read about HGH use in prostate cancer patients to help prevent muscle loss and to fight fatigue? All we could find was something about lesser chance to end up with prostate cancer if plenty of HGH is present.

I would stay away from HGH, there are other things you can do to grow muscle
Working out with two 13lb dumbbells helped me. I have osteopenia and have a 5% increase in bone density, so far. Also muscle mass increasing.
Wow that's amazing ! Can i ask you do you take bone strengthening meds also, or is the BMD increase from weight lifting only?
I have BMD loss (from ADT) and would like very much to reverse it if possible.
I was recommended creatine with something called HMB 1000 which supports against muscle protein breakdown.
I would add these are supplements only & take with plenty of exercise to support muscle growth & stop muscle loss.
Back in 2013 I was having what I thought I was just low t or maybe just a mid life crisis . I was 52 . Iwas in Cabo self injecting hgh for three months . I felt better . I met my wife on the beach there . But two years later I was in the icu with pc tumors blocking my bladder and urethra . K failure . I think the hgh super zoomed pc into my urology and shut me down . I can only blame myself for being my own doctor . Won’t do that again . Good luck!

How much do you exercise and what kind?
I walk 5-7 miles each day. Yoga, meditation and some strength training with a bow flex. I was not intending to use HGH but was asking out of curiosity.
I can’t know of what ‘some strength training with a bowflex’ means for you, but I can tell you that dedication to lifting heavier and more intensely is a superior plan. It will make the addition of anything else superfluous, especially if you're older.
Except T supplementation of course, but you have to take it for life once you've been on it for awhile. Still a good idea if you have naturally very low T.
Risky if you have Pca and are looking to counter the effects of ADT.
Do not play with your hormones without a qualified doctor involved who is aware of your health concerns. I would advise against doing so as I don't believe in altering one's body. The top bodybuilders with the "roid guts" are said to use T, HGH, insulin and other hormones.
If you can, even if you begin only by using your body weight, do "breathing squats". Ask for a test for your testosterone level before beginning and at three-month intervals.
Info about breathing squats can be found on the net. Old injuries in my shoulders and a SI ligament in my back, which had been healed for decades, returned with a combination use of Cipro pills and intramuscular Levaquin shots combined before biopsies. I was semi crippled. Unable to bend over long enough to scoop the cat's litter box or arrange something on a baking sheet without standing because of the pain. I was unable to sleep for more than an hour without pain and discomfort from my shoulders and back.
I had my T levels checked three times. It increased quite a bit each time. I had to begin doing squats with just the bar. in six months I was doing full range squats with 140 lbs. for 30 reps. I doubt that I will add more weight when I begin again. Why risk that old injury of the SI ligament returning to use a weight that means nothing? It isn't a competition. It is about my health and restoring some quality to my life. At around two months I was surprised that I had been able to scoop the litter box without stopping. A few weeks after I began doing some upper body exercises. Between the three- and six-month tests I added deadlifts using a light weight for 20 reps. I added pull ups, chin ups and dips, being careful with the dips.
Testing for HGH is rather involved. If you are increasing your own T naturally the other hormones will follow.
Let your body produce it's own hormones. Diet is important. Surprisingly, vegans tend to have higher T levels than omnivores.
As I watch commercials for various products that increase a man's T to "make" him a man again--and of course a female is always on the side giving a look at the man with a knowing glint in her eyes as the product is shown, often endorsed by a "former " athlete and a football is thrown or fake weights are lifted--I have to wonder--will these T supplements increase a man's chance of prostate cancer if he is on the edge of developing a prostate cancer? Or developing a prostate cancer sooner than would have happened? Will there be a surge in prostate cancer cases?
The bodybuilders that inject T may always need to inject T as the body "learns" not to make it's own T.
The bottom line is what is important to these companies.
My shoulders are --okay. The SI ligament will be troublesome for the rest of my life but is serviceable. When the pain gets a little too annoying laying down for a half an hour takes care of it.
When you need a treatment for this disease choose which treatment carefully and also the doctor. Do that which you can for yourself with diet, alternative treatments and supplements while keeping your doctors aware of that which you are doing and taking.

Thank you very much for your detailed post. I am very careful what I add into my body while fighting this beast. Thus far my treatment has worked and I am feeling fine for the most part. Of course there is the fatigue, foggy brain etc but I am dealing with it. I do have a daily exercise regimen and hope that I can keep this disease at bay for some time.
everything i have read that makes any sense suggests that human growth hormone is very dangerous. the worst use is for young people with "idiopathic short stature" in other words short children whose parents (and insurance pays for it because it is a "syndrome") want them to be tall so they can compete with the classroom giants. problem is that HGH is highly associated with cancer later in life as well as a host of other ailments. Just height itself is associated with increased prevalence of several diseases.
I understand the desire to counteract muscle wasting from PC treatment but I am not going to do anything about it other than regular exercise which is quite effective. Do not try to find ways to be lazy by taking drugs.

Resistance and weight training brought my muscles back to pre Lupron.
They'll never get bigger, but I recovered the loss.

I took daily HgH injections ( 1 - 2 i.u. ) & high DHEA (200 - 600 mg) for more than 30 years, & likely major factor in my PCa, identified 10 years ago. Only stopped HgH few months ago, & only treated PCa naturally: no negative physical issues yet, but as cancer takes 30-40 years to develop, so mitigation takes time as well.
I am age 75, with PCa diagnosed about 10 years ago, treating only holistically -- even avoiding biopsy. Along with mostly organic paleo diet, I'v taken many vitamins / supplements for more than 40 years. However, reading / realizing that highest Hgh, & DHEA is about age 20-30, during also lowest incidence of cancers & other degenerative illnesses, I took high DHEA (at least 400 mg daily,) & daily injections of HgH (1 - 2 i.u. daily,) for decades.
I've since become convinced that esp the HgH encouraged my prostate to grow. I subscribe to the hyperfunction theory of aging, which basically says that growth by mTORC1 is needed when one is young, but after say age 40-50, the continued growth produces elements that a weaker immune system is unable to handle, so the continued growth may lead to cancers & /or cardiovascular disease.
The past year I stopped the HgH, but the damage was done, so I am trying to employ other holistic alternatives, including Rapamycin to halt tumor growth.
My point above: additional HgH at older ages, may be a health negative.
