Who had gotten plevicto and did the insurance cover the treatments, how rough was the side effects. Currently on jvanta but PSA went from 25, 35,31 ant yesterday to 50.1 which is higher that when I started last year with the treatments. The last scan in December of last year showed only the Mets on the liver with the largest one had decreased in size . I am having another scan in a week or so to check and see what is going on. Does this increase mean that the current treatment is failing, they did not add the coplatin to the infusion. My biggest fear is that if it had not resolved or improvement in the liver Mets then it is disastrous and what other treatments can they do or it is over. Need some input from others that had been through this or facing the same situation. It just seems that no matter what they do nothing lasts for years just months .

You could request a biopsy of the liver mets to do histological, IHC and genetic studies and see if the cancer may respond to olaparib or similar, keytruda, or chemo with platinum compounds.
Liver mets could be treated with radioactive microspheres.

So far I received 8 Jevtana® infusions (for some reason without Prednisolone Acetate and without Carboplatin) and the PSA has been fluctuating between 30 and 40. Last time it was higher than before again. I have no clue if that's more or less normal. During my fist chemo with Docetaxel the PSA did fall with every infusion.
finished first treatment in Germany last week in Bad Berka. Had just shy of the max allowed dose. Had no side effects so far. Second treatment scheduled end of this month. No insurance.
Would you mind sharing what was the cost of treatment? They accepted you before having gone through chemo? What documents did you need to provide for evaluation?
