Any one dealing with mets to lymph nodes in the pelvic area involving the leg or legs? I am having swelling in my right leg. It is just starting, but I am not having pain or discomfort yet. Would appreciate any comments on this condition.

Dealing with lymph edema in leg.
Hi,
I have been dealing with it since my chemo, doppler says good blood flow, ct scan says no more lymph nodes visible, yet the swelling persisting for more than 15 months now, doc says cumulative result of chemo zytiga or prednisone, or any of them
Manageable, I even run with that, nights rest makes it less swelled, I use good quality compression stocking, and make sure to put the foot up for some mins before bed, doc says it should not create complication.
Let me know your findings.
After LuPSMA177 I developed swelling in left leg. Yes to compression tights and or stockings. I've also found rowing seems to move the fluid around. I like to hike in better weather but rowing in the Winter helps me.
I had swelling mostly in the right calf down to the ankle from ADT/radiation, and found it got better if I didn’t sit at my desk and didn’t drink lots of coffee. So I bought a standing desk and drank tea and more water, and the swelling was reduced.
I had a lymphadenectomy whereas around 30 nodes removed from pelvic area. It took a couple years for the lymphedema to show. I have it in my left leg. Went to PT and saw a therapist that specializes in lymph care. Went through three weeks of compression wraps and visited PT 3X week. She would do a lymphatic message, measure, wrap. 23 hours wrapped and one hour off, then re-wrap at home. Once my measurements were back to within a percentage of norm (compared to my right leg), I began using medical grade compression stocking, then knee high sock. My weight has gone up again and with it, the swelling has returned so I'm aggressively working to get my weight dow and with it, hopefully the swelling as those 23 hour wraps daily for 3 weeks are a pain. The wraps consist of bandages that are similar to ACE wraps but not quite the same. The wrap process is a royal pain and my wife helped. It starts at the toes with gauze, then the foot/ ankle, up the calf somewhat, back under the foot and works it's way up the thigh eventually. You sort of need to be trained to do it by the physical therapist. Getting skinny and staying that way helps.
Due to extensive lymphadenopathy including right pelvic sidewall and inguinal lymph nodes I’ve developed significant Right lower extremity lymphadema. Been going to Physical Therapy 3xweek for lymphedema massage and extensive wrapping with multiple layers of stockinette, cotton, foam, and sta-tight bandages. I now wrap the leg and have learned self lymphedema massage. Pending measuring for night and day garments as wrapping and unwrapping takes over an hour. Pain is subsiding with celebrex and fluid reduction where it was at 9-10/10 intensity levels during the night. Hoping chemo will reduced enlarged nodes which serve to mechanically block lymph flow out of the leg, with pelvic lymphedema noted as well.
Tactile Medical Flexitouch worked for us. Once a day, one hour. Also using compression (torture) socks.
