Best of luck to you Pmann!
Awesome Brother, here's to a Wonderful outcome💙
Best of Luck PMann. Its a journey for sure. We have learned from guys on this site, over the last 2 yrs (some from early TRIALS), that Pluvicto works well for roughly 1/3 of us, neutral for 1/3, and horrible for 1/3 so you are blessed.
Those that had bad outcomes seemed to have a common theme, and that was that they did it very late in the game (yes, it is a game, and you want to WIN), also most of the bad results had to stop after 1 or 2 sessions.
So your results after 2 sessions are very encouraging. Gosh, hope you have a great outcome and your third session is as good as the first 2 !! On paper, this makes sense. It seems like it should wipe the slate clean for a new beginning. All of my best to you and your family, Mike
Dr. Kwon says that a reduction PSA by 50%, after the 1st treatment, is a real good indicator of success. Also, no lowering of PSA after 2 treatments may mean one will have a poor response.
Best of luck! I am trying to get into a trial with LU 177, without doing Chemo first.
Have they given you any results yet? I start in a couple of weeks and was told would know how it was working pretty much afte the second dose
Only results so far is bloodwork, which has been great. A lot of folks are dropped after second based on those poor results or other SE’s
A PSMA PET scan is scheduled for April after fourth dose
I have tolerated it all well with minimum SE’s and that is such a Blessing
My spouse just had labs after 1st pluvicto infusion one month ago. His PSA dropped from 114 to 38. SE were very manageable, much better than docetaxel (PSA just climbed after each of 4 infusions). RE pluvicto shortages, we were glad to hear form the RO that he should get the next infusion in two seeks since he has already started the treatment. Others in his clinic that are ready to start have been told they have to wait. We're grateful. I wish you the very best.
Just curious, how soon after the infusion was the second PSA of 38 done. Mine didn't go down a lot, but wasn't measured until 5 weeks after the infusion.
Before 1st Pluvicto, PSA was 114 (it had climbed up from ~18 all the way to 114 during 4 docetaxel and one cabazitaxel infusions). Four weeks later PSA was 38. Second Pluvicto will be in two weeks. The appointments are set up to check PSA, blood, liver, kidney etc blood tests 4 weeks after each infusion. Docs say they might prefer to do labs after 5 weeks, but since the pluvicto has to be ordered and delivered, they need two weeks between approving the upcoming treatment and actually having the pluvicto infusion.
