I just received news that Kaiser are authorizing Pluvicto which I am expecting to start in the new year if they have supply. 🤞🤞. It’s been a long and tough journey and it’s only in the last 3 months that I have started to experience daily pain that affects my ability to function normally.
I have updated my bio if anyone is interested in my journey so far. For now, anyone with experience of receiving Pluvicto is appreciated and of course I do read through all the posts here.
Thanks for reading.
Footnote: Kaiser are outsourcing the procedure to Hoag Hospital which I am also pleased about

That's great about Kaiser authorizing it, I may be heading to that treatment down the road, if radiation fails to do it's job. Had an SUV max at 87.5 in prostate!!
Thank you for sharing your story. Good luck with the new treatment! I hope it will relieve your pain and kill most of the cancer in your bones. I look forward to reading more about your experience. Many of us can learn and benefit from reading about your journey.
remember to protect that cute blond from the radiation. if i get on LU177 (likely) my main concern will be protecting the dogs who normally sleep with me. will probably have to switch bedrooms with husband and let him cuddle for a few days. We only have one bedroom with stairs and the dogs can get up the loft ladder but not down
Love your best friend, Goldens hold a special place in my heart. I completed 6 infusions of LuPSMA177 at Dana Farber this year in the trial study for Novartis. Fatigue was the only real effect that I noticed. This pushed me to take action. I cut almost all Carbs and started hiking once Spring came. 7 miles each morning with my Border Collie. Lost over 25 pounds, 6'4" 200lb. My PSA went from 8.1 to 0.19. Presently 0.50. Five rounds of radiation completed on my tail bone. Sending positive thoughts you way.
We were waiting for Lu-177 in Oct and Nov and finally came home to Mexico to wait. Our oncologist assured us that my husband could keep his place on the list. We were just called for a consultation for the first week in January which the doctor is willing to do on line. Pluvicito is expected and last time the VA wouldn't approve the consultation because Dignity Cancer Center didn't have the medicine yet. Your post gives even more hope. Prayers for you. My husband is being treated in Phoenix but we would like to switch to La Jolla eventually depending on how it goes.
