Omega-3 DHA EPA and Prostate Cancer Risk

Dr. Mark Moyad is in my top list of doctors who are knowledgeable about Prostate Cancer, especially pertaining to diet and supplements. However I think this post is outdated regarding his comment that Omega-3 DHA EPA could be pro-PCa. I think the average Western Diet, especially in the USA has much too high of an Omega-6 to Omega-3 ratio (us Americans love our burgers and pizza and not our fish and Brussel sprouts, LOL.)

His very brief summary post from 2017 is here:

There hasn't been much study of Omega-3 on PCa since as far as I can tell but these two released since contradict the conclusions of the 2013 he is basing his comment on. My own opinion is, just don't "overdue" it on the Fish Oil Supplements and try to get as much of your EPA and DHA as you can from food sources. (P.S. I thought I read numerous times that Omega-3 in ALA form is to be avoided!?)

Examine.com sort of summed things up nicely:

And finally, this study (combined with the above) is leading me to question whether taking Omega-3 Fish Oil is just a waste of money in the long run having no proven highly significant benefits for cardiovascular health or cancer preventing, including PCa. Seems to me its main benefit is its anti-inflammatory properties? So maybe more beneficial to someone with arthritis?
