I'm so Blessed and Grateful to still be able to work 8 years with #stageIVpca and even more so when the patient expresses such a wonderful sentiment.
A long term patient asked how I was doing and I replied that seeing a 15 or 20 year pt elevates my mood and keeps me wanting to work and not retire😊

Decades ago an older sister brought her lil sis into the clinic that I worked at. The lil sista's top front teeth were all badly decayed. The older sis paid for the root canals and crowns. Lil sis left with acrylic temps afterwards.
At her crowns delivery appt, lil sis wore lipstick as she now cared about how she looked as opposed to when her teeth were decayed.
The older sis told her Mom to stop by the clinic, and when lil sis came out with her new front teeth, Mama exclaimed "Ay Dios mio, que bonita" Oh my God, how pretty
That really made me smile. Who benefits more the giver or the receiver? - Both do💙
