Today marks 7 years since our warfare against this horrible disease begun. What a Valentine’s gift for us!!!
The last few days and nights have been nightmarish because of excruciating honey pain. The red tape for approvals for new regimens can be frustrating. I am grateful that last evening a new pain regimen granted us the gift of sleeping all night.
My husband was able to get up and prepare fresh juice for us. When I returned home he had prepared a lovely lunch and as I walked through the door he said “happy valentine” ...grateful for these precious moments. It was nothing out of the ordinary but I know you would appreciate these “up moments.”
So I am sending greetings of love to all of you. And as J_o_h_n said...”all we need is Love.”
Find moments and reasons to be grateful. Gratitude helps to boost the immune system, which in turn fights cancer cells.
I am learning that it could be much worse than it actually is.
Grateful...

God Bless all caregivers! I am amazed at your strength and love. I speak for those with cancer in saying that caregivers are what keeps us going.
It is so wonderful that you both were able to have a good nights rest. The homemade juice and lunch are a plus. You said it so well, it is love that keeps us going. Sending some love to the two of you!
