Today, I go to see my urologist, have the usual lab test done and then receive my last injection of Eligard. It’s been 2 1/2 years of getting this medication. Now I will be coming off it and we will just have to see what happens over the next six months to a year or longer.

Here is to wishing you a sustained remission. My 24mo Lupron sentence expired on 10/06/2022. My PSA is holding at <.1, My MO said to me, "Now we are just going to trust God for the outcome". So grateful for a God-fearing doctor! May His peace and healing be yours!

Finished 26 months in April and have been in the waiting room since then myself. Next labs in 2 weeks but so far things look good. Last meeting with my MO I asked what’s next and the reply was “live your life”. Feels good to be getting back to normal physically too. Good luck to you sir!

Great job with the Eliguard ! I’m hoping that you will feel the return of testosterone and feel better? Keep playing the base! Enjoy the reprieve May it last a lifetime! 🙏🍀

Good Luck with that.

I had a break of 4 weeks after being on Eligard for 18 months. PSA nadir about 8. Before my break my PSA was 8.5 and T about 0. After my break PSA was 9 and T about 0. I had slight swelling in right Inguinal node. Swelling reduced slightly after Eligard shot.

My Oncologist says dont worry about anything and keep having Eligard and I should live for 5 more years. Happy days.

So in my non-professional opinion, you will be fine. Dont expect your T to got up any time soon though.
