Sertraline anti-depressant (Zoloft)

Some time back I read here that Zoloft (Sertraline) can help slow PCa. My husband is on similar but different anti-depressant but think it might be worth trying the Zoloft. Welcome advice/comments.

It’s an antidepressant. Maybe worth asking your doctor about it.

Suggests you search that topic using Google or pubmed.com......obviously there are no conclusive studies or would be used by Docs fights depression while slowing PCa...great combo benefits.

Have been on Sertraline 100mg for some time. No evidence that it has slowed my disease. It helps with anxiety, as prescribed.

Thanks to you and all who've responded. Hubby is making gradual switch to Zoloft (sertraline) from Lexapro (escitalopram), anyway. He needs the anti-depressant, so we'll see if it has the possible added benefit.
