I have metastatic prostate C to both hips, sternum and some parts of my back. I have been on Lupron for 6 months and Xtandi for 4 months. Due for Prolia injection on Monday. If I have my testicles removed can I stop the Lupron and is there a down side to doing that. I am 82 years old.

I've been suffering from a down side lately. My empty sack wrinkles up and gets sore between my legs.. Great John had scrotum reduction surgery when his were removed... wish I had known. Now I have to find a surgeon or vet to clip mine. Other than that, no more lupron for life.
No reason to take Lupron anymore.
The side effects are the same, no advantage compared to Lupron.
