Rib Cage intermittent sharp pains

Recently started having intermittent sharp pains that shoot thru the right side of my rib cage. No strenuous activity that would cause a pulled muscle or such. Had mildly elevated liver enzymes on last blood test so am curious if there might be a connection. On standard, Zytega, Prednisone and Lupron; PSA undetectable. Otherwise feel great. Any feedback? Thanks.

Yea liver discomforts ( PAINs yayahahahaya) are not uncommon with ADT , many people here ….including myself mention it . The liver pains can become so acute some days , it hurts to cough from rib cage pain. One liver test that gets ignored is a urine test of “ microalbumin “. Get a urine test kit off A…. Or have your GP write you a lab request. My microalbumin is around 200 ( very high ) and my liver inflamed and painful 24/7 if I forget my pain meds. Opiates quieten liver pains - discomforts …considerably.

Hey Kaliber,

Thanks for the input. I have some imaging scheduled next day or two; will see what the outcome is and then plan from there. Will also get the urine test you suggested. My enzyme level elevated to 84 and has been such for last two blood test sessions. Dr wants to see what happens at next test, which is 3 weeks from now. His experience indicates it should begin to recede to normal levels. No alcohol, etc. Thanks again.

What test is your enzyme test … ?

Part of my regular battery of blood tests taken every 30 days, includes PSA, enzymes, red and white, etc.
