He could not take the Xtandi, pains wrapped around chest to back and more.How hard on the system is taxotere? husband is up for that next, 1st a liver biopsy. But 2 weeks away. He is losing strength fast, just my feeling to do this now , not wait. Also in a good deal of pain , MO, gives him a child dose of Morphine. Just looked it up.So biopsy shows small cells, why not kill whatever size is there?Thank you all so much for your answers, they have given us great information, and if we had it sooner it would have saved some harsh trips to ER.But in all the information and encouragement have been life giving.We appreciate and thank you for your help!!

Thank You tango65,That is a lot of information. The 1st article seems to indicate that liver impairment is a problem. I will have to follow his liver profile. Since he has mets to the liver that are increasing.

On the ER visits we get more information on his health, especially the mets.

His pain is increasing, to a long acting morphine level.
