I'm continuing to study more about Tumor Associated Macrophages. I've mentioned in the past that my intuition tells me that suppressing them they may be the key to making immunotherapies work.

Certainly part of the problem, but there are many reasons why immunotherapy has a poor record for PCa. I'm hoping that your therapy breaks the losing streak.

Thanks for sharing this valuable article. First of all.. What kept us cancer free for decades ..?Clear answer is our immune systems ability to kill and eat up circulating cancer cells and not letting the population of cancer cells increase significantly.
Immune system has two parts..(1) Humoral (antibody based) and (2) Cell mediated (based on Macrophages, NK cells etc)
It is second type of Immune system which is most important in case of Cancers.
Boosting cell mediated immune system by right kind of diet, regular daily physical activity, various immune enhancing herbs, spices, specific vegetables and fruits can play a positive role. Besides there are supplements and some chinese roots which also stimulate Immune system.
To test chinese root based product, A month ago ,I started taking 8 tiny pills a day which contain Tang Kwei and Astragalus extract ( a.k.a Dan Gui Bu Xue Wan)
Before starting ,my Absolute lymphocytes count was 1900 and after a month, lymphocyte count jumped up to 2200. Something similar happened 2 years ago when I took Live, Cholera Vaccine (Vaxchora) after Guru Nalakrat presented a swedish study about it.
Besides I have been taking a tea spoonful daily of Black seed oils..which might have played a role.
An interesting fact from this article is Bisphosphanates such as Alendronate tablets/Infusions etc. can slow metastatic growth.
Alendronate tablets 10 mg a day which I take one month on and one month off basis ..did improve my T Score on DEXA scan from -1.6 to -1.2 within 6 months. A glass of Milk with 2 teaspoonfuls of Turmeric powder might have contributed to this bone strength improvement.

With inspiration from you and Nal, Itook it six months ago, with my low lymphocyte count shooting up dramatically afterwards. Now, this is back to the old low level, a side effect of another med. I am debating whether it's too soon to have another go at the vaccine....
Its almost 30 months and I plan to repeat Live ,attenuated Cholera vaccine soon .It is called Vaxchora. Its a spoonful of liquid which one drinks one time and effectiveness last 2 years. Either your doctor or any international travel agency can make Vaxchora available.
That is fine. But I’m going for a booster dose of the different live oral cholera vaccine that was actually used in the Swedish study, Dukoral, which is available over the counter (no prescription) at pharmacies in Canada. I am returning to do a big motorcycle ride in British Columbia next month after the multi-year COVID closure. My wife and dog Mateo will come along in our little motor home. Cheers! Nal assumes the Vaxchora is equivalent, and perhaps it is. But it does not have the exact same immune potencies, in that Dukoral also covers enterotoxic E.. Choli. Downside of either is essentially zero.
Dukoral ,dead cholera vaccine is not available in USA ...Vaxchora Live attenuated one is available in USA. Most of world still uses Live attenuated one esp in countries with endemic Cholera as it is supposed to be equal or more effective than dead one.
Could there be any downside to taking the vaccine long before the protection wears off, say after six months? I need a new boost to my lymphocytes, hit hard by Dasatinib. BTW, I followed your sound advice to reduce D to 50 mg - lymphocytes were reduced very much less. But I still have the fall-out from the previous 100 mg dose.
Thanks, the question for me is why the natural system breaks down, and once it does do the preventative measures still have an effect. It seems that once cancer has taken hold, a more extreme approach is needed to use the immune system.

Why immune system breaks down and cancer takes the upper hand.There are myriad reason of break down of immune system ...first of all ..our genetic make up which can enable aggressive cancer to arise This aggressive type quickly overwhelms the immune system. Then, comes many other reasons of low functioning immune system which include wrong kind of diet, morbid obesity, sedentary life style, excessive emotional stress and lack of good coping skills and of course comorbid medical illnesses.
Preventive measures still work even if immune system has become weak. They can stabilize the immune system. If it was not so, why these big drug makers are spending tons of money to make tablets or infusions of immunotherapy and sell at exorbitant prices. However, they have only succeeded marginally in area of immunotherapy.
In area of immune regulation, I think Traditional Chinese medicine and Indian Ayurveda has much to offer.
In nutshell, strong immune system can keep a lid on growth of cancer cells helping our medical treatments.
