Sorry to hear that things aren't going a little smoother for Jeff. He could use some good luck about now. Hopefully things will settle down and he will be able to continue with the Keytruda next week. I really appreciate your postings and will be looking for your next update. My husband is scheduled for his first Keytruda infusion next week.
I'm so sorry Stephanie. I keep hoping for better news for you. You are included in my prayers every morning. I love that you both manage to smile with every appointment.
Shiiiiiiiiza Jeff & Stephanie, we have been pulling so hard for you❤️. There comes a time when a Man has to take matters into his own hands, and do things his way. Give Keytruda another try, then hope for the best. If not, knowing that Jeff is in control, and the Medical Machine is in the past, may give Jeff peace of mind and know that his journey here will not be long. He will know that the two of you gave it everything. As fast as time is moving now, the difference between 55 yrs and 75 yrs is a blip. Many will spend much of that time in an easy chair watching television. How much of life is that? You made the most of it. You fought the good fight. No stone unturned. Be proud of what you have done for Jeff, and remind him of life he has compressed into this time on earth. Whatever your spiritual beliefs, know that Jeff will move on to a much less painful, much less complicated space. Call it Heaven, or the Spiritual World, or Reincarnation, whatever you choose. All will be better than what he has gone thru this last 6 months.
Thanks for posting and keeping us updated... Many thoughts and prayers heading your way! Hopefully things spin in the right direction and the Ketruda helps.
Im so sorry to hear this. Lets hope he can get back on keytruda and beat this.
Jeff! I salute you brother . You are very strong to endure what you do! You show us all an example of how to be brave .. You are loved much in this world! God bless you🙏
Strange..... I had treatments with Keytruda for my Lung Melanoma (it worked). As a two year old I had Bells Palsy on the left side of my face which resolved itself except for my droopy left eye and my cheek. The recent Keytruda did NOT affect my droops,,,,,
I am sincerely in your heart of transitioning hope and caring that this will keep him going because you have been so an inspiration to him as well as on this forum. My love to both of you
It is scary I bet. I can't sugar coat the experience Jeff and you are going thru.I can see where eventually I will be in his shoes but it is so unfair that some like Jeff are on a collision course right from the get go. I'm heading there with an electric trolling motor. He's on a race boat.
I so much hope he can get that next Keytruda inj. and it starts to turn things around.
If I was on a race boat it would be so nice to have you as the navigator and supporter you are.
I see you in the pic and there is Jeff able to give that salute and go along for the ride with you keeping track of everything, helping with decisions, etc. "I can handle this, I have Stephanie taking care of everything". "We are giving it everything we got".
