If it continues to rise, you might consider switching to xtandi.

Slow creep you can live with for a long time. Must still be working on most of your PC, but may have new mutation in some of it that Zytiga can't handle. Scans will show. Sounds like you have had a great run on Lupron and no chemo yet so even if zytiga slacks off you have lots of options left. I to am past 70 and have been blessed with a good life and extra time well past the first expiration date the dr's gave me. Best of luck to you on your race to 80.

My husband's psa didn't decline until the 3rd month on Zytiga so don't give up too soon.

Try switching from prednisone to dexamethasone. Send this link to your MO:

TA, thanks for this link. Am in similar situation to Rogersw.. 4.5 months into Zytiga and PSA creeping up. May I assume this would work with a switch from Prednisolone to Dexamethasone ? Also interesting in conclusion is a longer PFS has been observed in patients with previous long hormone sensitivity duration: I was on Casodex for around 6 years.

You can discuss making the change and seeing if it helps.

There is usually cross-resistance between hormonal therapies.

Thanks all for your input

Was on Zytiga for just 5 months until it failed with PSA rising to 0.55. Switched to Olaparib when found out I was BRCA2+.

Hi. Am 4.5 months on Zytiga + Prednisolone (and Zoladex). PSA creeping up. Will see oncologist tomorrow and share result if useful for you.
