Streching and yoga postures cause more efficient circulation of blood and lymph in the tissues. This in turn activates and stimulate tissue and might enhance immune system .Yoga streches and deep breathing tecniques are a good addition to comprehensive treatment of PCa...Lets strech like a cat..first thing in the morning ! Its OK to strech while lying in bed.

anonymoose2,

I have the original gravity boots invented by Dr. Robert M. Martin, a spinal surgeon.

If one is able to, if one still has the ability to use the boots, a much freer range of motion and the variety of exercises that can be done with the boots. While hanging like a bat your back is free and you can also do unrestricted twisting movements and even hyperextension type of back movement bringing more of the core into play. One can also hold dumbbells or weight plates in one's hands to increase the resistance.

I have the booklet that came with the boots. The booklet has about 75 written pages and around 25 pages of pictures demonstrating the boots and the "Gravity Guidance System" that had an attachment much like today's Tweeter except the boots were hooked on platform's bar before swiveling to an inverted position.

The boots are made of steel and I believe galvanized. They are over 40 years old now.

My gravity boots look like the TONYKO boots on Amazon. Over 40 years ago mine cost about $80.

Before you buy gravity boots you need to have a secure, A SECURE, bar to use. Also do you have the strength to use them? There are YouTube video demonstrating the exercises that can be done with the boots.

I just watched the TONYKO video. If you buy gravity boots, I strongly advise that the latches securing the boots are on the outside of the ankles. If the latches are on the inner side of the ankles, they can become caught up on one another.

Great news, thanks for sharing! I do a lot of stretching and some Yoga. I also use a hydro massager at my gym every chance I get. It’s great. I get relief from stiffness in back and hips. Now I have another reason to step these things up.
