Waiting for MRI

I was diagnosed on March 4th with gleason 3+ 3 in two cores 40%. And gleason 3×4 in two cores 60%. PSA 5.4.

My question is, I have pain in my legs, feet, ribs and back. Is it my imagination running wild? My urologist and surgeon told me they are almost certain it didn't escape. I'm so nervous. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

It is your imagination running wild. Right now, your mind is not your friend. I remember being at that stage (as many of us have) where I was certain that every back twinge was a metastasis flaring up. I finally saw a psychotherapist who taught me some useful skills for staying in the present moment and only dealing with things as they are.

If you are in the US, you can pay $300 for a second opinion to have your biopsy cores read by Jonathan Epstein - the best in the business:
