I mentioned before that my son age 30 years he had PSA 1.8 (we did PSA test for my son since 2014 with the recommendation from Urology DR. in Germany)
I made a contact with my Oncology Dr. in Germany he recommended for him to make again PSA test after 1 month but not to make intercourse and no
bicycle riding for 5 days, then he made a PSA test and now its 1.3 ufff Iam relieved.
I do live in Sweden if I will make it here ,first we have to arrange a time for house DR. to talk to him and he will made a referral to the urology ,god knows how long time it takes.
My oncology gave me the right answer within 24 hours thanks to a very kind Dr.
Believe that there are good Drs. and ohhh bad Drs.

I’M a little confused over the concern at a PSA well below 4.0.... is there something missing from this post??....Maybe I’m uninformed and a PSA of 1.8 IS something to worry about in a 30yo male....?? I’ll do a little reading.
I am curious too. I don't know what a 30 year old's PSA should be. They certainly rarely get measured at that age. Regarding that 4.0 threshold -- a suspicious DRE got me sent to a urologist and diagnosed with Gleason 8 at age 66. My PSA at that time was only 2.7 so be careful considering a reading below 4.0 an 'all-clear'. It may not be.
Normally ( in the USA) PSA is not even included in general bloodwork...for a 30 yo male. Your case is certainly unusual...and you are right....perhaps we would best not rest easy with a 2.7psa( at least not unless it was accompanied by a non-suspicious DRE... in my own case I was DX’d with a PSA of 5.0....These days that would not be cause for alarm with a normal DRE for a man my age...( then again I was 10 yrs younger when initially DX’d..... stay well.
BTW, the doctor who performed that DRE refused to have my PSA measured despite my age (66) at the time and despite me asking for it. It was a clinic associated with a medical school. Very strange. I was surprised as was the urologist I got sent to, who then had to order the test.
