Hi

I had Gleason 3+4 2010 and i was i Germany they put insiode my prostate around 43 seeds L-125 after 6 yeras it comes back with Gleason 4+3 more aggressive.so the urology and the onkology decided to make HDR + external beam " Radiation"

IN 2017 april i did HDR + External Beam my prostae gland under the time i was taking PSA every 3 months January 2019 my PSA was rising to 2.7 i called the onkology he said you have to make F18PSMA PET CET i went to the University hospital of cologne in Germany and did this kind of test ,they showed me at the second day that i had 3 spot in my lymph nodes,he said you have a aggressive cancer , now i'm preparing soon to make another treatment may it will be a radiation to kill again the cancer cells. This is my short history,

There is now a trial called Lutentium 177 PSMA seaching for cancer cells and killing them specielly the skeletont cancer the problem its very expensive, This treatment is in Finland , Germany and Australia may be in another places too.

Always the problems the money because the treatment is expensive,

I hope i can answer questions ,.i'm here for help.

Regards

Are you on ADT? Zytiga? Talk with them about getting on ADT at least...I would stay on it for a couple years. Of course, it is whatever your MO and RO decide...Radiate the nodes, but get on ADT and maybe zytiga---there is patient assistance for zytiga where you pay very little...

Good luck,

Fish

You could have the three lymph nodes radiated with Cyberknife in Cologne. The health insurance will pay for that.

As long as you are not castration resistant, the insurance will not pay for a PSMA Lu177 treatment and it is difficult to get that done in this situation.

You have to take it one step at a time. The external beam radiation that you had with the hDR brachytherapy - did they treat all of your pelvic lymph nodes at that time? Is that why they are treating only the 3 lymph nodes now with SBRT?

Hello Tall _Allen

please if you gave any comments :

Recently i finished my therapy with 23 sessions for my lymph nodes in Germany in cologne in ( OTC ) oncology therapy center and my oncology dr. weise he recommended to continue with Bicalutamide 150mg until october 2019.Now my PSA is <0.10 µg/L

I did a lung examination

My result of lung examination:

2019-05-07 07:58 DT thorax with intravenous contrast, Author: Therese, Dahlman

No previous survey is available in our image archive for comparison. At DT urography 2015-06-29, no deviations were seen in depicted parts of the lung bases.

At today's examination (1 or 5 mm thick sections), some lung nodules cannot be detected. No enlarged lymph nodes. No pleural or pericardial fluid. No skeletal defects. Unchanged with DT urography, 2 liver changes, max 6 mm large, are located in the right liver lobe. One has the appearance of a benign cyst and the other has slightly higher attenuation but not typically metastatic appearance hemangioma ??

Thanks

Hello j-o-h-n

I'm located in Sweden ,the treatment in sweden is in very low prices but you have to wait 90 days to start the treatment if its approved and they do not have advanced treatment like Germany.

Germany is the best country when it comes to cancer treatment.

I told my urology to make a notice to the university hospital in south of sweden for Galuim 68 he never did it,and by the way every thing going very slowly ,i decided to do it and i did it in Köln in Germany in the university of nuclear hospital it took only 2 weeks ( F18PSMA PET CT ) so quickly to find 3 spot on my lymph nodes.April the first next month i will do 1xct and 23 fractions in a clinic,i will stay in Germany for 34 days . I hope to live more for every day i feel okej and i feel with other peoples who have the cancer problems.I read about trials for the Lutentium 177 PSMA they have a trial for patients for free of charge ,i'm seaching for that kind of trial. Thanks for reading.

Thank you for your response and your information. I'm afraid that the United States is heading towards being a Sweden like country.

Good Luck, Good Health and Good Humor.
