Xtandi dilemma

I've been a bad boy. Maybe—sort of.

I've been jacked around by the medical system. I couldn't get catheters for months and suffered in almost intolerable pain. And so, I got into the habit of stockpiling supplies when they became available.

I had a good run on enzalutamide (Xtandi)—almost 3 years. Over those years, I managed to squirrel away several bottles of the stuff. Now I don't know what to do with them. I hate to see them go to waste. Impoverished as I've become through the four-year cancer battle, it would be nice to make a few bucks—although I expect that the drug manufacturers have paid for laws to prevent that.

What to do?

Offer them for free to others on this forum.

Do the right thing and offer them to a member in need. I don't see how your impoverished when your profile is hawking a book on Amazon.

I suspect that offering them at a substantially reduced price from what the drug manufacturer sold them for would be looked upon by the Almighty with favor.

“Free” is a good example of a substantially reduced price…thinking of Hidden here, in a following post.

I hear your point. I'm sure the poster has good intentions or he wouldn't have posted.

Sounds like a good film noir. A dozen bottles of Xtandi missing in action, a mysterious woman, and a sinister government/Big Pharma conspiracy!

Be careful mailing the drugs. They will be confiscated. Pick up in person only.

Really? I just received Erleada direct from the manufacturer in a plastic bag, via UPS as if it were a replacement printer cartridge. That'd be $14,131/mo if I could afford the cash price.

Drugs from the manufacturer is different that someone mailing drugs.

I can do that. Send a direct message to tell me how.

Whether you send drugs or another banned substance through the U.S. postal system or a private carrier, it is always illegal. In fact, it is against the law to send any type of illegal drug, whether that is marijuana, heroin or even a prescription drug for which you have a valid prescription.

It's a gamble.Definitely don't use United States Postal Service.

Use UPS and make up a company name for yourself and the receiver (blah, blah, LLC).

I don't think you would get busted (fined, jailed) if caught but it might get confiscated. That's the gamble.

Hi, can I ask what happens now treatment wise for you after the Enzo?My husband was diagnosed same year as you, ADT docetaxel chemo now been on xtandi since last October. Just wondering what options there are when this fails?

We live in UK so very fortunate that all medications are free on NHS.

I hope someone benefits greatly from your supply.
