I am very happy I do not not have to go abroad and spend a boat load of cash. I was finally called up too start Lu 177 stateside, Although I was having a conversation with my onc unrelated to treatment, and he was a bit of a buzz kill by stating this is all thats left on the table for me. No pressure. He did say there are clinical trials possibly, but I have exhausted all Standard treatments a bit sobering. I did contact the doc in Nebraska and he stated there is a novel new drug on the horizon, Good to know, but doesnt feel real now. My Psa just jumped up to 19 from 3.6 in 3 weeks. On the zytiga xtandi combo I guess its ran its short lived course, I am grateful for the overtime granted, but Have a real zest and need to live much longer. Yes I hope for a robust reaction to Lu 177 but have always had a plan B until now. Go Rams 27 to 17 a rams victory. The photo Was in September rams vs tampa bay. So fi is spectacular.

My husband didn't have any luck with xtandi either. We waited around for a little while for Lu177, but couldn't wait any longer. We had to move on to Xofigo. I pray the Lu177 works wonders for you! But the Rams are going to lose....Who Dey!!

Headed for third infusion this week. It will be a month since my PSA test. I think I will start to do a 2 week one as the not knowing is causing anxiety. However 0.79 in January was lowest mine has ever been! I have no idea what’s the Degarelix / what’s the Lu-177 or what my partially ablated but remaining prostate would put out!

Hi, I live in oregon and they kept assuring me Lu would come available here, FDA approved, sooner than later, meanwhile the treatments I was involved in were working for a while. Now current day I am in need of this because I have been told theres nothing left. I am not sure whats this is called, Clinical trial or compassionate care.
Which OHSU Doc(s) ? I'll be enjoying couch-side seating , though look like great stadium for viewing. Should be rooting for West Coast team, but divided loyalty with Midwest roots!! and the underdog? lookin back at last 8 teams and close decisions.....I think any of those 8 could have ended up with the rings!!
I will get more particular info as time progresses, I will fill everybody in at that time. I Can tell you there are many involved in my care and I have been waiting at least a year. It was the best games collectively I have ever remember seeing. Enjoy a Rams victory.
Portland is within reach.. I live in North Idaho and have a sister in law in Portland. Maybe that will be an option for me too when I need and Up date treatment. Life Is Good and a plan B is a good idea..

Oregone. Clever, the City I knew is gone, but can rise again. I hear india has a few issues as well. Nice too also keep the money i would of dropped there, stays with me for a while longer.
I have completed 4 courses of therapy with the PSMA-617 ligand loaded with Lu and Ac isotopes, the result is excellent! I sincerely wish you good results from this treatment! I would like to clarify a couple of points for you.. 1. For the entire duration of treatment with the help of PSMA carriers, your T must be kept at zero by all available means! 2. For the duration of treatment, it is necessary to cancel all anti-bone resorption drugs (Xgeva, Zoledronic acid, etc.), if you take them! 3. And most importantly, before starting treatment, it is necessary to determine the status of your foci for susceptibility to FDG - for this it is necessary to conduct a PET-CT examination with 18F-FDG, so as not to get disappointed in your expectations later.. The formula, the less FDG(+) in the foci, the higher the expected therapeutic effectiveness of this treatment! I wish you good luck and God bless you!
Very helpful and interesting, do I need to request the 3rd point you suggested or is that Standard. I am currently taking xtandi and zytiga so T should be low. Last checked less thsn 3, How would I get the ac 225 Isotope added and how crucial is that for sucess. How are you tolerating treatment and whats next for you. Sorry for All the questions. Determining the status of FDG BEFORE the start is VERY important! 60% of disappointments due to the fact that this treatment did not help precisely because PET-CT with 18F-FDG was not performed! It should be understood that before introducing such a dose of radiation exposure, it is first necessary to assess the expected therapeutic effectiveness of the upcoming treatment! Wanted to share the great results I had from Lu-177 and wishing you the same.I had my treatments at the Fortis Memorial research in India. My first PSMA scan showed many tumors with some expression, one larger tumor with much more than the others. After 2 treatments nearly every bit of the active tumors have been eradicated. The Dr assures me the 3 rd treatment will completely remove all.

I Needed to hear this for yours, and my sake, continued sucess. My first infusion is in 4 days. I guess german oncs have been giviving xtandi prior to Lu 177, because it allows better expression. Ironically I was represcribed this drug in November. For a different purpose. Hopefully it works well.
