It is with a heavy heart that I must say that my warrior father passed away last Sunday after battling this beast for 12 years.
He was trying to get to the LU-177 treatment which was scheduled for next week. He had went through 2 docetaxel treatments at the end which caused severe infections after each infusion without helping with tumor burden. I wish this had not been a requirement to get the Lu-177. I believe this killed him.
I wish all you warriors the best. Stay strong and continue battling. I will be praying for each of you. Hopefully, before long we will have a cure for this awful disease. I will forever miss my warrior, but he has instilled in me his zest for life and never give up attitude. God bless.

I’m so sorry. That is so devastating. I hate this stupid awful disease. I hope we find a cure soon as well. I hope you get all the time and space you need to process.
I'm so sorry. I know he tried hard, going through many drugs. It's always tough deciding to take a drug after the body is worn out with so many previous medications. You seem to have helped him a lot, and your fighting spirit comes through.
My sincere condolences! I’m sure your dad was a great role model for you and you will keep him in your loving heart forever. Sometimes in the future we’ll all be united again - never forget
I am so very sorry for your loss. Thank you for your prayers and I respond with prayers lifted up for you and your family. Your dad’s zest for life is inspiring for us to live the same way as it is for you to do the same. You will be blessed for the support and love you have selflessly provided to your father!
You were an amazing champion for your Dad. So sorry for your loss. May the memories bring you solace during this time of loss. Sending hugs and prayers.
I read your previous posts, ….. you were very supportive and actively helped your father as much as you could have. He was very lucky to have you by his side advocating for him, loving him. And even in your grief, you have taken time to encourage and support the rest of us. You are obviously a very good person Dadslove, full of love, strength and character …. thank you for thinking of us . A big fuzzy warm e-hug out to you.
So sorry to read of another brother passing... He fought long and hard with your support. I too am waiting on Lu-177 and hoping to get some benefit from it... Remember the good times and get out your pictures and cry over them. It helps....
I want to thank all of you for your thoughts and prayers. This community was a great support for myself and my dad while he was looking for treatments. I read dad your posts often and it gave him hope. God Bless.
So very sorry for your loss. Your Father truly was a Warrior to survive 12 years with older therapies. Yes, we all hope for a cure, or extended remission one day soon.
Know this, your Fathers spirit will be with you always. You will feel his presence at unexpected times. He knew of your support.
