PT2CPN0 is this cure able?

My urologist told me a few years ago, there is no cure for me. He would treat me like a diabetic. I was a G7 [3+4] psa now 0.22. If no bone metastasis is there a possibility for a cure. My medical oncologists told me when my psa gets to 0.5 , I could get a PSMA scan and find out where the little suckers are located.

I had a BCR six months after surgery . Surgery was in 12/2013

Thanks for you input.

You had RP+salvage RT. If the salvage RT did not include your entire pelvic lymph node area and that is where your cancer is, it may still be curable with salvage lymph node radiation and advanced hormone therapy. If there is no overlap in the radiation treatment area, you may qualify for this clinical trial:

OIC. Then it is not curable with current medical technology, but it may be manageable for a very long time.

It's not a cure.

I would advise you watch Dr. Eugene Kwon's two part youtube video "A combat manual for beating prostate cancer". He in essence calls for a paradigm shift in attitude toward treatment of prostate cancer. The one weakness in his talk is failure to explore and define the role of radioligand therapy.

Thank you j-o-h-n, my medical oncologists has a different look at my PC than my urologist. He’s thinking maybe a cure. He’s at MUSC, they will be doing PSMA scans. He told me when my PSA gets to 0.5, they will do the scan. He told me he has a patient where they found 3 LN’s. Patient had surgery to remove them. Patient has been cancer free for three years is he cured, he doesn’t know. But that’s good enough for me.

If you don't know, I'm into humor and don't like being a downer. But my theory (now that's funny, me with a theory) is that we are all born with cancer and it just takes time or a trigger mechanism to unleased those little bastards from their hiding place(s) and into our blood stream. Smart little bastards. So to get to my point IMPHO (in my professional humorous opinion) there is NO fucking cure.....for cancer (just remission)......

Good Luck, Good Health and Good Humor.
