There is no serious interaction between alcohol and Zytiga. However, a large amount of alcohol causes more belly weight gain ..thus worsening of metabolic syndrome (increase in blood sugar and blood pressure) Zytiga itself worsens Metabolic syndrome.If one has to drink...just one regular glass of good red wine with dinner may be OK as it has polyphenolic substances esp. Resveratrol. Red wine also has anti inflammatory effect and mild estrogenic effect.

GuruNal, that sounds like a good idea ...to put some dark Red Grape seed extract powder in my strictly limited (one small glass) of Red Wine in a day. That powder loaded with Resveratrol can also be added to vegetable+ Fruit smoothy. This can be called "supplementing" or "enriching".

I go through a 750Ml bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon weekly. Have been for years and have no plans on stopping. Yes I'm currently using Zytiga.

Hello Yanni1! IMO In celebration on occasion I like a drink or two. Too much is too much sugar . I’m on Tak-700 stopping adrenal t and it doesn’t mix with alcohol at all . If I drink red wine I get pains in my jaws and ears . I don’t miss drinking at all . I had a point in the late 80’s that drinking every weekend happened . Binge drinking . I can’t handle the hangover no more . I feel for those addicted to anything during these trying times . Happy Holidays and if a toast arises go for it . No binge drinking please? 😂🥳👏🥂

Hmm... Tapered off Z&P in January and lupron 7/20.

Knocked backed 2 light beers and 2 little honey brandy nips daily.

After and before dx (except for the day of and day after HDR Brachy... Why tempt fate?)

Also, it might also explain some of my posts and replies😒.

Liver enzymes and renal's remained normal throughout.
