Eye lid swelling, red eyes, and bloody mucus all part of chemo.. At least for me.. Passing problem.... pasta tastes like school house paste.... fun.... 'Ate kielbasa and sour kraut.
is it necessary to take neulasta after every chemo?
I was wondering the same thing. Heading in for my number six infusion tomorrow, with my Neulasta shot scheduled for Monday. I noticed my white blood count is in the middle of the good range. Could I skip my Neulasta shot and just be careful on any kind of infection? Also noticed my red blood cell count is below good range, and has been for quite a while during my chemo treatment.
I have also left eye lid swelling & soreness but I am only on ADT, Firmagon. It appears to be just another side effect of the different treatments?
Yes, same thing happened to my husband, very sore eyes, bright red face and neck along with all the other joys that chemo brings. It will go down again, and may not happen after every session.

So this guy has a wooden eye and he's lonely and decides to go to a "let's meet singles dance". While he's there he spots a young lady with a hare-lip sitting all by herself across the room and all night no one has asked her to dance. Feeling sorry for her and a bit shy he builds up his courage and finally walks over to her and says "Miss would you care to dance". She's so excited she yells out "Oh would I, would I". The guy walks away angerly yelling "Hare-lip! Hare-lip!
Good Luck, Good Health and Good Humor.

I’ve had some eye irritation that started back in April, kind of thought it had to do with the Zytiga and steroid. It has continued on through my chemo treatments. The irritation is primarily gooey‘s in my eyes that I wash out in the morning and add drops to during the day. But it hasn’t gone away during chemo treatment.
